Don’t take health for granted! I understood that logic but my excuses has always been “no time”.

Last year at age 48, my health took another toll and I had to depend on short -term medication. I decided to attend a “ health talk” to see what I can do to improve my health. I am glad I make time to attend. I shared with my girlfriend “早知道 (If only I had known this earlier) . She said ” 有钱难买早知道…” (Money cannot redeem what you have not done). 

Prime-Time health Course is not just another health talk but it encompasses many unheard truths and wisdom that can prevent poor health. I applied what I learnt from the sessions into my daily life. I learn to “make” my own medicine after the course. What I really learnt is that each time I struggle to exercise, I would remember that our “internal pharmacy” needed to be opened so that we can achieve optimal health.

I am learning so that I can continue to be a healthy living example for my 2 teenagers.

My husband and I attended the Prime Time course and it was time well spent! We learned many things we have not heard before and also many common sense living tips on eating well and simple exercises we can do to keep well! Our favourite is to learn to read food labels before we buy our groceries! I picked up many gems from the Prime-time Health course. My greatest takeaway is this: our lifestyle directly affects how our bodies function. For example, I learnt how we can bring about self-healing through consistently  exercising our bodies. As we exercise, the quickened blood flow in our blood vessels causes the cells lining our blood vessels to produce Nitric oxide (our natural vasodilator) which widen arteries and increase blood flow thus bringing oxygen and nutrients to nourish the various tissues in our body.

Learning to read food labels has also helped me in my food choices and selection of the food I purchase from the stores and supermarkets.
